New InPost UK senior management team aims for rapid growth

New InPost UK senior management team aims for rapid growth

There is a new InPost UK senior management team who have ambitious growth plans as well as leading an environmentally positive change in consumer online delivery in the UK. Key to this growth is their aim to expand their national network of 850 automated lockers.
InPost, which is backed by global private equity firm Advent International, has experienced rapid growth and success in Poland, growing from 2,000 locations to over 8,000 within two years. It has revolutionised the Polish market, where nearly two-thirds of people shopping online are using lockers, with close to one million parcels being sent each day.
Spearheading the new InPost UK management team is CEO Jason Tavaria who has a wealth of ecommerce and delivery expertise from roles leading same-day service Shutl (owned by eBay) and previously the founder of Dolphin Music an ecommerce trailblazer in the early 2000s.
Supporting Jason in the senior line-up is Lotta Lindquist-Brosjo who assumes the role of Chief Customer Officer. She joins from eBay where she headed up the marketplace’s innovation and business development arm for EMEA and also has previous experience transforming the fortunes of companies such as Ryanair and Bet24. Prasanth Subramanian joins as Technology Director from eBay where he headed up product integration, merchant solutions and developer partnership functions across Europe. Prior to that he helped execute the digital transformation at retailers like John Lewis and has also worked at global technology service firms, Infosys and Cognizant.
Completing the new InPost UK management team is Locations Director Gavin Brice who has an extensive understanding of securing outdoor locations following senior roles at leading advertisers Global, Exterion Media and CBS Outdoor where he developed and led some of the sectors largest contracts including the TfL advertising concession.
InPost is confident it can help create more environmentally sustainable and convenient deliveries for all through reducing last mile single-drop courier deliveries and encouraging more consumers to collect and drop off at lockers through greater convenient locations.
InPost UK has already partnered with carriers such as Hermes, DHL Express and DX and retailers such as Boohoo, JD Group and Holland and Barrett. The carrier partnerships are significant for small online merchants as the Hermes partnership not only promises a convenient collection proposition for retailers, but also opens up possibilities of dropping off parcels at lockers at whatever time of day or night suits your business. Naturally it’s also an attractive proposition for consumers wishing to return goods.

“We want to help change online shopping behaviour to create greener communities and we believe we can achieve this by integrating into how people work, shop and play. We have a growing network across the country with 24/7 availability and are continuing to identify suitable sites within large urban areas including transport hubs, universities and hospitals. The UK’s delivery infrastructure is at breaking point and won’t cope as demand for faster, convenient deliveries continues to soar. Delivery lockers are not only convenient for consumers, but also simplify assorted logistical problems including environmental and safety issues. I’m confident that the new management team can deliver the next phase of growth for InPost in the UK and our specific expertise will help unlock new opportunities. We’ve had positive discussions with organisations and government over the past few weeks that show there is real demand for innovation to help unblock the delivery and returns logjam and we believe we have an integral role to play in that process.”
